Summer Bishil, an American actor, is well-known for portraying Margo Hanson on the Syfy television show The Magicians. In the Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she played 13-year-old Lebanese American girl Jasira experiencing a turbulent living situation in the context of the U.S. invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War. Later that year she was voted one of the Ten actors in Variety's list of to Be Watching. In 2009, she played the imposing Taslima in the film Crossing Over. She was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead in this film. She has also acted in films like The Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and has played several guest roles in television, including the co-lead in Lucky 7.
